Normani and Sam Smith’s 2019 hit, Dancing With a Stranger, has snagged a billion streams on Spotify.
Achieving the feat three years after its release only means the song is the gift that keeps on giving, and Spotify has added the song to its Billions Club playlist. The song appeared on Smith’s 2020 album, Love Goes, and is certified 4x Platinum in the US.
Forbes rated the song the most played radio track of 2019 and was the 27th most streamed song by a female artiste (Normani) in the UK. It has since won several accolades, among them Song of the Year at the 2020 Brit Awards.
