In a magically intimate ceremony, Nigerian Afropop trailblazer Mr Eazi and actress‑fashion icon Temi Otedola exchanged vows in an ethereal wedding set against the stunning backdrops of Iceland.
The event took place inside the iconic Hallgrímskirkja Church in Reykjavík, which was transformed into a lush floral haven and closed off to the public, offering the couple complete privacy for their big moment.
A close-knit group of family and friends attended, including Temi’s mother, Nana Otedola, and her sister, DJ Cuppy, who were seen leaving the venue in elegant outfits. Nigerian comedian Broda Shaggi stirred further buzz online by sharing joyful clips with Mr Eazi and Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote, as the group enjoyed Iceland’s spectacular scenery.

Temi Otedola aged 29, is the daughter of Nigerian billionaire Femi Otedola and has carved out her own space in the worlds of fashion and entertainment. Her acting debut in the feature film ‘Citation’ earned critical praise for her powerful portrayal of a university student fighting systemic injustice. Off-screen, she’s also known for her elegant fashion sense, creative projects, and global brand partnerships that reflect her rising star status across Africa’s cultural landscape.
Mr Eazi, born Oluwatosin Ajibade, is widely credited for pioneering the Banku music sound, a seamless fusion of Nigerian and Ghanaian influences with global appeal. His 2015 breakout single “Skin Tight” featuring Efya marked the beginning of a successful run that includes hits like “Leg Over,” “Anointing,” “Pour Me Water,” and “Dance for Me.” His work has earned him fans across continents and collaborations with artists from Wizkid to Major Lazer.

Beyond music, the 34-year-old has grown into a respected entrepreneur. He founded emPawa Africa, an initiative designed to support and fund emerging talent on the continent, and launched Zagadat Capital, through which he has invested in tech startups and creative industries across Africa. His latest venture, Choplife.ci, is a digital entertainment platform exploring gaming and sports tech with a focus on responsible entertainment and reinvestment in African youth culture.
