A new month is here and with it, is some interesting releases.
1.Willy Paul feat Samantha J – Hold Yuh
The release ‘Hold You’ from controversial artist Willy Paul is a collaboration with Carribean star. Jamaican Samantha Gonsalves, better known by her stage name Samantha J, is a model, singer who has had several hits including ‘Baby Love’ and ‘Tight Skirt.’ Bwana Mkunaji collaborated with the Columbia Records signee, and the result is a dancehall track; the track’s sound is reminicent of previous releases from Pozze, however Samantha J does well to match Willy Paul’s energy.
2.KrizBeatz, Diamond Platnumz and Ceeboi – Abi
Simba mwenyewe ventures out of his comfort zone with a collaboration with Naija mega producer KrizBeatz and rapper Ceeboi. KrizBeatz popularly known as ‘The Drummer Boy’ brought the trio together, releasing the track as a follow up to his collab with Tekno and Teni on the release ‘HIT ADM’ remix that dropped on March 20th 2020.
The trio match up their vocals for an east meets west release that is a fit for a solo party, while in self-isolation.
3.Mbosso – Haijakuwa Sawa
Wasafi WCB signee Mbosso is back with an emotional release. Known for his heart-tugging vocals, the message on the release dubbed ‘Haijakuwa Sawa’ is well delivered. The Khan as he is known to fans sings of a troubled couple living a life of want, and prays for better days.
‘Haijakuwa Sawa’ is Mbosso third solo release, alongside various other collaborations out this year.
4. Vicmass Luo Dollar feat Nyakusa – Lockdown
Venacular rapstar Vicmass Luo Dollar is here with another release for those stuck in the house. The crooner who is known for various releases including the iconic ‘Bank Otuch’ urges all to remain patient, stay indoors to avoid the spread of the Coronavirus. Nyakusa provides some great melodies, in the Major Static production.
