Otile Brown is back with another sweet serenade.Brown now has a reputation for his heartfelt lyrics and beautiful melodies, and ‘Vibaya’ fits that same mold. The hook is a refresh of a childhood favorite, and Otile does a great job of supplying some tracks for lovers stuck at home.

2. Bensoul feat Kaskazini – Ile Kitu

After releasing the heart-tugging ‘Forget You’ Bensoul is back again. This time collaborating with fellow Sol Generation signees Kaskzini, the track ‘Ile Kitu’ is flirty and fun, just what the doctor ordered during these difficult times.

Coupled with an entertaining animation, the four artists do a great job at offering something to uplift spirits, and champion an all-Kenyan production. The track was produced by Sauti Sol’s Fancy Fingers & Savara Mudigi and the animation by CartoonsKe.

3.Sailors – Dunda

The track is a party track, dubbed ‘Dunda’. Fast-paced, simple lyrics that have a ring to it make it so easy to jam to. Similar to all their previous releases, the crew uses their own slang further developing their unique language.

The new release produced by Mavo on the Beat has adopted an animation video courtesy of  A Prince Visual. The crew members all contribute something to the track, but Miracle Baby carries it home.

Worth noting it that the song has been posted on Sailor’s YouTube channel, and not that of Mwalimu Rachael; their manager, as had been the norm before. Great growth for the gengetone group.

4. Timmy TDat – Pengting

Timmy TDat continues to shock with lewd lyrics, questionable visuals in his latest release ‘PengTing.’ The track features Timmy sing about his favorite topic of bedroom business, and adds on quarantine and safety precautions onto the lyrical content for good measure. The Enos Olik video could be racy to say the least, and has garnered 30K views since its release yesterday (8.04.2020).

5. Kristoff feat Big Pin – Move It

Celebrated Kenyan rapper Kristoff has dropped a new video dubbed ‘Move It’ featuring veteran musician Big Pin. The track has a sound reminiscent of Bebe Cool’s sound and also meshs the popular Mr. Vegas release ‘Heads High.’

According to Mdundo, ‘Move It’ is all about appreciating a well-endowed lady, who Kristoff teases to go shake her waist on the dancehall. The new release comes barely a week after Kristoff featured in Gabu’s ‘Cece’.
