Necessary Noize Announce Comeback

Kenyan music duo Necessary Noize are making a comeback!

The hitmaking duo made up of musicians Kevin Wyre and Nazizi Hirji have teased a new single that is set to drop on May 5th, 2022.

If the teaser video is anything to go by, the two superstars are set to bring the heat with their new release and fans are already amped up.

In 2021, Nazizi who is now a mother of two, made her solo music return with the ‘Mashariki EP’ after a long hiatus.

Wyre has had an illustrious solo music career with hits ‘Chuki’, ‘Kingston Girl’ and ‘Uprising’. He has collaborated with Jamaicans Cecile, Alaine and Grammy-award-winning Morgan Heritage.

Necessary Noize was formed in October of 2000 and steadily grew in popularity. In 2004, they released their second album Necessary Noize II: Kenyan Gal, Kenyan Boy which included popular regional hits such as ‘Kenyan Gal, Kenyan Boy’ and ‘Bless My Room’. Although mainly hip hop based, the group also does some reggae and R&B tracks.
