“My Heart Is Shattered After The Death Of Takeoff” – Offset

Offset has had his “heart shattered” following the death of Takeoff.

The late rap star – who was known for creating hits such as ‘Versace’ and ‘Bad and Boujee’ alongside his cousin Offset and his uncle Quavo as as part of hip hop group Migos – was shot dead earlier this month at the age of 28 following an altercation at a club in Houston, Texas and now Offset has explained he wants to “hug, laugh, smoke and perform” with him one last time.

He said: “Dear Take, the pain you have left me with is unbearable. My heart is shattered and I have so many things to say, but I can’t find the words. I’ve been going to sleep and waking up hoping that all of this is a dream, but it’s reality, and reality feels like a nightmare. Every time you would see me, you didn’t give me a dap you gave me a hug. I wish I could hug you one last time. Laugh one last time. Smoke one one last time. Perform one last time.”

The ‘Open It Up’ hitmaker – who is married to fellow rap star Cardi B and has Kulture, four, and 14-month-old Wave with her- went on to add that he is sure that Takeoff has made it to heaven but has been left with a “hole in his heart” following the tragedy.
