Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday congratulated US President Donald Trump and the people of the United States on the 250th anniversary of American Independence.
In a post on X, PM Modi said the India-US relationship is more than a strategic partnership. Rooted in shared democratic values, rule of law, and faith in people’s potential, he called it a “force for global good.”
“On behalf of 1.4 billion Indians, I extend my warmest congratulations to President Trump and the people of the United States on this historic 250th anniversary of your Independence,” Modi wrote.
He added that the partnership reflects common beliefs that continue to drive cooperation between the two democracies.
