Meg The Stallion to trademark her winning phrase ‘Hot Girl Summer’

Meg The Stallion is about to cash in on her most popular phrase yet.

The ‘Big Ol Freak’ rapper confirmed that she would be taking steps to trademark the popular phrase that skyrocketed into popularity with the beginning of the season of summer. A controversial female emcee, the bodacious beauty took to Twitter in a friendly interaction with a fan, discussing the future of the term that has encouraged self-love and appreciation within the dark and twisted corners of the internet.

According to The Brag, “Megan filed the trademark on July 10th; the same day that she revealed to a fan on Twitter that she was “in the process” of guaranteeing that the three most beautiful words in the English language were rightfully attributed to her forevermore.” The outcome of the trademark could have the Houston-rapper earn heavily from the use of the popular phrase.

Many including some celebrities have taken to social media to use the phrase in celebration of themselves including mother of two Jada Pinkett Smith. Clad in a green bikini, she shared a lovely image of herself sun-basking on a boat.
