Hard-hitting Kenyan group Matata has joined forces with Sol Generation’s finest Bensoul and Nviiri the Storyteller for a new EP.
The Norway-based group, currently in Kenya for their first ever tour in the country, have an EP with the Sol Generation singers set to launch October 7th 2021.
Dubbed Unaware, the EP seemingly features 4 songs: Tulia Nikupange, Matatu, Pombe na Kizungu Mingi and Unaware, and the cover art shows all musicians featured hanging on a matatu in animated form.
All 3 acts have had an incredible run with back to back bangers, so it is more than likely than the new EP will be no exception.
Nviiri and Bensoul’s Kitenge and Medicine EPs respectively were huge releases this year, amassing streams and downloads on major streaming platforms.
