Popular Nigerian singers Simi and Adekunle Gold have kicked off 2019 by getting married.
Nigerian singers Adekunle Gold and Simi will formalize their relationship today (10.01.19) with an intimate white wedding ceremony at a beach in Lagos, Nigeria.
According to reports its expected that it will be even more low key than yesterday’s traditional wedding party which had about 300 guests handpicked by the couple themselves. The super-private couple surprised many with their traditional wedding on January 9th.
The location of the white wedding ceremony is a dream come true for the groom Adekunle Gold who revealed at a recent interview that his preferred location for a romantic dinner was at the beach.
In December 2018, the lovebirds became the talk of the town after Simi shared a photo of themselves kissing on stage where she shared the stage with Adekunle Gold at her concert.

Simisola Bolatito Ogunleye, professionally known and referred to as Simi, is a 30-year-old Nigerian singer and songwriter. Simi started her career as a gospel singer, releasing her debut studio album in 2008 titled “Ogaju.” She has also featured on Mr. Eazi’s Life Is Eazi, Vol. 2 – Lagos to London album on the song “Surrender.”
Adekunle Kosoko, popularly known by his stage name Adekunle Gold, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter and graphic designer. Gold began his music career in 2010 and in 2016 he released his debut album “Gold.”
