Lil Nas X is back on social media, much to the excitement of his army of fans and followers.

You may have caught wind of his absence from the internet thanks to the grotesque loud silence and a lack of quirkiness that is prominent in his usually hilarious, eccentric posts.
Renowned for his unabashed sarcastic social media persona that always gets people talking, the Montero rapper has been on a four-month hiatus, shortly after testing positive in COVID-19 in December last year.
“Why are people surprised I’ve been away for so long? Have y’all really never heard of maternity leave? I’m so happy I’m back on the internet. I missed me so much,” He jokingly tweeted to his 7.5 million followers.
The Grammy winner who is also set to perform at this year’s award ceremony on April 3, came bearing goods too; two new songs, Late to the Party and Souf Side Hoes, that feature fellow rappers NBA Youngboy and Saucy Santana respectively.
Nas is up for 5 Grammy Awards at this year’s ceremony, including Record of the Year, Album of the Year, Song of the Year, best melodic rap performance and best music video.
