Police have launched an investigation into the shooting of a university student who was seriously wounded during an attack in Kahawa Sukari.
The female student at Kenyatta University was attacked in her room and suffered injuries on the cheek.
Nairobi Provincial Police chief Benson Kibui says no suspect has been arrested over the shooting but an investigation is ongoing.
Kibui says they have enhanced security around the Kenyatta University area to guarantee their students their security.
