Kenya’s biggest festival, Koroga is back after a two-year hiatus!
Koroga Festival organizers have today (17.05.2022) announced the return of the event and their partnership with the World Rally Championship – Safari Rally.

The 30th edition dubbed the WRC Koroga Festival is set to take place between June 23rd to June 26th, 2022, in Naivasha. A surprise international act will headline the main show on Sunday, June 26.
This will be a one-of-a-kind Koroga Festival that will bring revelers more than music, fashion, and food. The festival promises fans a chance to experience the beloved Safari rally on a whole different level, the thrill of speed, and unlimited entertainment for four days.
In a statement seen by The Sauce, The Koroga Festival Project Director Ms. Farida Idris hailed the partnership saying, “I am happy and proud to present to you the first-ever Safari Rally Koroga Festival, a melting point of two brands with a rich African heritage.”
“This four-day extravaganza will bring together artists from across the continent to celebrate everything African, from our food, fashion, our culture, and our love for the Safari Rally,” the statement added.
Koroga is inarguably one of the best events in Kenya and over the last couple of years through the many editions has brought the entertainment scene to a standstill. Sauti Sol, Koffi Olomide, Femi Kuti, Manu Dibango, Salif Keita, Asa, Alpha Blondy, and M’bilia Bel are some of the African stars who have graced the Koroga stage.
The last Koroga Festival also held in Naivasha in February 2020 was headlined by Bongo superstar Diamond Platnumz.
