Released via Submachine Entertainment/FTS Global Management/ADA Worldwide, ‘Pool Party’ opens on a powerful note with the introspective track “Our Father.” In it, Konshens bares his soul: “Inna my life me feel like me dead whole heap a time and me born again whole heap a time,” he says. “In this super serious climate and state the world is in, I didn’t want to make an album that reflected all that heaviness,” Konshens shares. “When I focus too much on problems, they tend to linger. But when I take a light-hearted approach, I find it’s easier to move forward healthier too. So, in the middle of all this madness, let’s have a Pool Party!”
