The best rapper in Africa Khaligraph Jones and Nigerian Canadian rapper Dax have done the thing!
Papa Jones released his new album, ‘Invisible Currency’ yesterday after a four year wait. He also went ahead to release the visuals to one of the bangers on the album titled ‘Hiroshima’ featuring international rapper Dax.
The track in the album has already raked close to 200k views within 24 hours of its release. It has garnered praise from fans and haters alike on social media.
The music video communicates the song in a minimalistic visual. The video is shot in a setting that resembles the leeward side of the Great Rift Valley, an extensive shrubland full of earth-brown color and savannah vegetation. It strikes a chord with Africa’s scenic geography and stirs up that feel of African pride.
In the track, Khaligraph Jones opens in his distinctive rap style, flaunting his successes in music (chants of OG, the greatest, repping Africa) and talking of the thematic social issues of today. As his part winds down, he seamlessly switches to Swahili lyrics and calls out lack of governance, injustice, and the youth problem. He tosses a challenge to African rappers to rise and claim the throne.
Dax seizes the second part of the song to introduce himself to Africa’s rap scene. He celebrates his Nigerian and African heritage and adopts an emphatic stress in lyrics. And since rap is synonymous with braggadocio, he threatens to blow up anyone who stands in his way, and it helps the track’s name is Hiroshima.

The highly anticipated album ‘Invisible Currency’ has amassed over 100,000 streams on Boomplay.
