Kenyans on Twitter are not to be messed with, they bring guns to a knife fight.
The hard-hitting K.O.T recently got into a Twitter war with South African tweeps and the responses back and forth are nothing short of hilarious.
Although it is unclear what led to the most recent Twitter war, tweeps from these two countries bashed each other on matters development, infrastructure, traditions, talent and personalities.
From the responses, it is clear that K.O.T came at South Africans on Twitter with everything they had and took the ‘title’ home.
This is not the first time Kenyans on Twitter has been embroiled in Twitter wars, Kenyan tweeps are always ‘beefing’ with South Africans and Nigeria.
Kenyans on Twitter are most notably known for rallying together to call out injustices against Kenya.
In 2015, Kenyans on Twitter lashed out at the US-based media house CNN for branding Kenya ‘the hotbed of terror’ with the #SomeoneTellCNN. Later, as reported by Forbes CNN’s global Executive Vice President and Managing Director, who oversees CNN’s global editorial policy, flew all the way from Atlanta to Nairobi to personally apologize to President Uhuru Kenyatta and Kenyans.
As previously reported by The Sauce, in 2019, after the Dusit D2 terror attack, Kenyans went in on the New York Times for its insensitive reporting of the attack under the #SomeoneTellNewYorkTimes.
