Othuol Othuolo is no more, as many in the entertainment industry have affirmed his impact will forever live on.
It has been confirmed that famed comedian Ben Maurice known by his stage moniker Othuol Othuol passed away yesterday (11.10.2020) after battling health complications. It is reported the comic who graced television screens on the show ‘Antie Boss’ succumbed to death after a fortnight in Kenyatta National Hospital. His health deteriorated due to a brain tumor and kidney complications.
Last year his health also suffered after being diagnosed with Tuberculosis, a potentially serious infectious disease that mainly affects the respiratory system particularly the lungs. In a past interview, Othuol noted that his health woes drained his pockets, due to costly treatment.
Fans and friends have taken to social media to remember the ‘Churchill Show’ comedian:
A close friend and ‘Antie Boss’ actress Sandra Dacha took to social media to share her last moments with her friend. She wrote, “This was yesterday. I tried calling on your name a number of times but you kept giving me cold eyes…Your hands were telling me to go away…you did all that ndio utuwache Othuol?”
Othuol will be truly missed.
