East Africa’s biggest event, Nyege Nyege, is well on in the banana nation. It will run through weekend and see a slew of artistes take to the stage.
“Nyege Nyege is a genuine, experimental African utopia – it feels like the future of festival: Excitingly diverse, consistently surprising and committed to uncontrollable dancing,” MixMag described the popular festival.
A number of Kenyan artistes that will put on performances include Benzema, Boutross, Dope I Mean, Ex-Ray, Kabeaushe, Kaneda, Leon Duncan, Mr Lu, DJ Magnum, Makossiri, DJ Mawinch, MGM Ke, Mr Fabz and Sylvia Ssaru.
With people the world over coming to experience the goodness that is Nyege Nyege. Other activities that revellers will partake in all weekend include bungee jumping, basic and extreme rafting amongst other water activities.
The festival is taking place at Itanda Falls, on the Nile River, Uganda.
