Keke Palmer’s boyfriend is on the receiving end of backlash by fans after he shamed the new mother for wearing a revealing outfit to to Usher’s Las Vegas residency show.
On Wednesday (06.06.23), a social media controversy erupted when Keke Palmer’s boyfriend, Darius Jackson, took to Twitter to comment on her outfit choice at Usher’s Las Vegas residency show.
This was in response to a video of Usher serenading Palmer with the song “There Goes My Baby,” Jackson tweeted, “the outfit tho….you a mom,” implying that the attire, a black sheer garment over a black thong bodysuit, was too revealing for a mother.
“We live in a generation where a man of the family doesn’t want the wife & mother to his kids to showcase booty cheeks to please others & he gets told how much of a hater he is,” he wrote in one tweet. “This is my family & my representation. I have standards & morals to what I believe. I rest my case.”
The ‘Nope’ actress took to Instagram today (07.06.23) to share pictures of herself wearing the previously criticized outfit. In the caption, she expressed a hint of regret, stating, “I wish I had taken more pictures, but we were running late!” However, she has chosen not to respond directly to her boyfriend’s tweet.
Darius and Keke,29, have been together since 2021 and their journey has recently been enriched with the arrival of their adorable son, Leodis Andrellton who is now four months old.
