Kenyan actress Catherine Kamau alias Kate Actress is now a beautypreneur.
The former ‘Mother In Law’ star launched her lip care brand dubbed ‘House of Humba’ this past weekend.
The mother of two held an exquisite launch for ‘House Of Humba’ graced by her close friends and fellow celebrities.
Among those who showed up to support the award-winning actress on her new venture include her husband Phillip Karanja, Jacque Matubia, Diana Marua, Neomi Ng’ang’a, Celestine Ndinda, Milly WaJesus, Wambosha Maxine, Milly Chebby, Gathoni, Judy Nyawira among others.
“Thank you my watuz. From Your lips to God’s ears, please don’t let them be cracky, house of humba cosmetics lipcare kit is officially launched,” posted Kate actress.
The lip care products consist of; 2 in One Vegan Lip scrub and Lip Mask (Sh 1550), a Vegan, Cruelty-Free Sleeping Lip mask (Sh 950), Vegan Free Lip Plumper Mask with Collagen (Sh 950), Hydrating Warm lip balm with SPF (Sh 620) and Silicone exfoliating Lip brush (Sh 170).
Kate who recently underwent a weight-loss procedure called the (swallowable) gastric balloon joins other Kenyan celebs who have ventured into the makeup brand business. These include socialite Huddah Monroe with Huddah Cosmetics and YouTuber Joanna Kinuthia with Joanna K Cosmetics just to mention a few.
