Happy Valentine’s day!
Valentine’s day is a day celebrated all over the world by lovebirds who take this one day to express their love for each other. The day is synonymous with expensive gifts, wine, flowers, chocolates, and red outfits.
However, the whole Valentine’s affair to Kenyans on Twitter popularly referred to as K.O.T is a day to keep away from in the most ridiculous ways.
Since yesterday, the hashtag #MensConfeference has been trending with the most hilarious tweets and memes. The supposed Men’s conference is an escape for men who do not celebrate Valentine’s or want to get away from the responsibility of doing something special for their significant other. The supposed conference started on Valentine’s eve and is ending on Saturday the 16th of February.

In another set of hilarious tweets, there are some valentine’s appreciating men known as the “Caretaker committee” who appears to have gone against the bro code and decided not to attend the “conference”. Reason? So they can “take care of the women being left behind on Valentine’s.
In the midst of it all, there are another set of men who have been found out and cannot attend the men’s conference, either because they have wives or girlfriends who don’t joke or left their phones unlocked so they just had to turn back. Women are also playing into the Valentine’s comedy by asking their significant other if they can be with another guy while he is on the “conference” others have offered to send nude photos to men who haven’t attended the elusive conference.

With all that is said and done whether one celebrates the day, you have to give it up to K.O.T for their creativity.
