Citizen TV anchor Jeff Koinange’s latest news bulletin has Kenyans abuzz.
If you are still not abreast with the celebrated anchor’s Sunday Live bulletin last night, here is a brush-up. During the live newscast, Koinange uncharacteristically struggled to read from the autocue. He had multiple pauses and looked albeit restless, and viewers were quick to make the discernment.
The TV bigwig co-anchored the bulletin with Lillian Muli, who visibly seemed uncomfortable as her colleague repeatedly paused and strived to pronounce words, and occasionally tried to save the day for him, but it still would not come to fruition.
Koinange’s fluffing and forgetting obvious names has the internet in a meltdown, and understandably so. He is famed for his sheer articulation and speech prowess and ease to captivate audiences, and last night was an exception from that.
