KISII, Kenya, June 24 – Java House has opened a new branch in Kisii town, increasing its total number of outlets across East Africa to 98.
The move is part of the company’s ongoing expansion strategy.
Located at TotalEnergies in Kisii town, the outlet is Java’s first in Kisii County.
The company cited the town’s population density and role as a regional transit hub as reasons for selecting the location.
Kisii County Executive Committee Member for Trade, Tourism, Industry and Marketing, Cyrus Nyabicha, acknowledged the opening and said the county is seeking to attract more businesses by improving the local investment climate.
In addition to its expansion, Java House is involved in several initiatives through the Java Foundation, including school meals programmes and support for local agriculture and creative sectors.
The company is approaching its 100-branch milestone as it continues to grow its footprint in Kenya and the region.
