NAIROBI, Kenya, Oct 12 — The Director of Public Prosecutions Benson Ingonga on Thursday held an inaugural meeting with Regional ODPP Coordinators to spell out his vision for the prosecutorial agency.
The officials were drawn from Nairobi, Coast, Western, Lower Eastern, North Eastern, Nyanza, Central and South and North Rift regions.
Later in the day, Ingoga met all ODPP Head of Departments, Head of Divisions and County Heads at the Prosecution Training Institute (PTI) in Nairobi’s Loresho.

He also presented the Order of the Grand Warrior (OGW) and Head of State’s Commendation (HSC) presidential awards conferred to staff from ODPP in recognition of distinguished and outstanding service rendered to the nation in various capacities and responsibilities.
Ingoga assumed office on September 25 following his appointment by President Ruto after parliamentary approval.
He took over from the now National Intelligence Service Director Noordin Haji.
