Edward Norton, star of the movie Incredible Hulk, had signed up three Maasais to run with him during the New York marathon. Two of the Maasai runners have never travelled far from home.
On his twitter, Norton wrote; Three Maasai guys from Kenya who I work with are coming over to New York to run with me.
The run is to benefit the Maasai Wilderness Conservation Trust which works to promote sustainable development while protecting the savannah grasslands.
Norton joined the foundation 10 years ago when he first visited Kenya and met with the foundations founder, Luca Belpietro.
Luca Belpietro will also be one of the runners joining Norton on the November 1 marathon.
