This Saturday, all roads lead to Nanyuki as Johnnie Walker brings its signature Afro Exchange experience to Zero Percent Lounge, delivering an electrifying celebration where music, art, culture and premium whisky come together for one unforgettable night.
Taking over one of Kenya’s fastest rising lifestyle destinations on August 1, Afro Exchange promises an immersive experience designed for those who appreciate great music, creative expression and elevated celebrations. From 4:00 p.m. until late, guests can expect high energy performances, vibrant art installations and the unmistakable atmosphere that has made Afro Exchange one of the country’s most exciting cultural experiences.

Leading the lineup is Kenyan hitmaker Mejja, whose infectious stage presence and crowd-favourite anthems guarantee a performance to remember. The soundtrack for the evening continues with electrifying sets from DJ Candi and DJ Cupid, while MC Mido keeps the energy high from start to finish.
Adding another creative dimension to the experience, celebrated mural artist Bankslave will also showcase visual artistry, creating an immersive art experience that reflects the creativity and cultural energy of the platform.
“Nanyuki has become one of Kenya’s most exciting lifestyle destinations, where people come together to experience great food, breathtaking scenery, vibrant nightlife and unforgettable moments,” said Duncan Mokaya, Johnnie Walker Shopper Manager. “Afro Exchange is about celebrating the people shaping culture and creating spaces where music, art and meaningful connections come alive. We’re excited to bring this experience to Nanyuki and invite consumers to celebrate progress the Johnnie Walker way.”
The event comes as Johnnie Walker marks National Scotch Day, celebrated on July 27, honouring the rich heritage of Scotch whisky while continuing to redefine how consumers experience the brand through contemporary culture, premium experiences and shared moments of celebration.
With its unique blend of adventure, creativity and cosmopolitan energy, Nanyuki has quickly become one of Kenya’s must visit destinations. This weekend, Afro Exchange adds another reason to make the trip, bringing together some of the country’s most exciting talent for a night that promises memorable performances, immersive art and premium celebrations in true Johnnie Walker style.
Following a successful edition in Kisumu earlier this year, Afro Exchange continues its journey across Kenya, championing local talent, celebrating cultural expression and creating experiences that inspire people to come together, connect and keep walking.
