Celebrated Kenyan singer Nikita Kering is leading the Fenty campaign in Kenya and she might as well manifest a collaboration with Rihanna.
The hitmaker spoke to The Sauce about this new exciting opportunity during the launch of the Fenty products here in Kenya on Thursday (26.05.2022).
Nikita thrilled guests with her hit songs ‘Happy with you’ and ‘Ex’ during the event. She described her new gig as one of the faces promoting the beauty and skin products owned by billionaire Rihanna as an opportunity of a lifetime and added that she feels truly blessed.
“Its a blessing, an opportunity of a lifetime and I just hope to milk this cow,” said Nikita.
The 20-year-old entertainer whose favorite Fenty Beauty product is the Glass Bomb lip gloss, spoke about championing for inclusivity as she promotes the products to the Kenyan people.
She said, “Being a part of this brand (Fenty), allows me to campaign for inclusivity, I want to make people feel included, loved and just create a safe space for anybody who might be doubting themselves.”
Inclusivity is close to Rihanna’s heart as she created her products to cater to people of all colors and there are 50 shades of foundation to attest to this. As reported by The Sauce, Riri’s baby daddy ASAP Rocky featured on the Fenty Skin launch campaign and she added that she wanted skin care to be inclusive, for all genders.
The bubbly personality intimated that she is set to release new music in the next two month. She is also manifesting a music collaboration with the Grammy winner saying if its meant to be, it will be.
The Fenty Beauty Launch in Kenya hosted by Lintons Beauty and Oby Afrika, was held at The Social House, Nairobi on Thursday ahead of the official launch on Friday 27.05.2022. The cocktail event with the dress code ‘Fenty Fresh’ was set at the club on the 5th floor. It was well-attended by top Kenyan celebrities, from influencers, musicians, content creators, entrepreneurs to make up artists who came out to party dressed to the nines.
