Idris Elba is officially established as a deejay.
The “Yardie” Director was recently announced as a part of the Coachella Festival artists slated to perform in April 2019. The British actor will be among many artists to grace the popular 2 weekend festival in California. The show will be headlined by ‘Thank u, next’ crooner Ariana Grande, rapper Childish Gambino, and Tame Impala.
Idris Elba will not be the only deejay who will be spinning at the international event. Russian- German record producer and deejay Zedd will also be performing. Major Lazer’s Diplo and Frenchman DJ Snake are also expected to give an electric performance.
Other featured artists include 2018 breakout stars Ella Mai, Jorja Smith, and H.E.R. Afrobeat artists Mr. Eazi and Burna Boy will also perform at the prestigious event.

General admission passes for Day 1 are sold out with tickets going for $429 which is approximately 43,000Ksh.
