Tanzanian heavyweight crooner Diamond Platnumz is flaunting his affluence once again in one of his latest Instagram posts.
The Wasafi boss took to Instagram a few hours ago to showcase high-end jewlry, to the admiration (or is it envy?) of his fans and followers, especially after having out of obscurity what the entire get-up cost him. The silver draping entailed 5 customised rings for all five fingers of one of his hands, each christened with a letter, which combined read SIMBA-one of his showbiz monikers.
The rest of the jewlry entailed matching silver bracelets and a silver watch, all screaming of affluence. As if the million-dollar picture was not enough, the Tetema singer went on to state what the entire collection cost him, predictably causing a stir. “$100K for the fingers… $ 177K for the Hand,” read his caption. The amount translates to an estimate of Ksh 27.7 million.
The star’s penchant for expensive jewelry goes without saying, going by his music videos, publicity pictures and social media posts. Back in August, he admitted to spending a whopping Ksh 5.5 million on a custom-made necklace. The piece had his face and that of a lion engraved on the pendant, as well as a shirtless impression of the singer.
