Savara, the former member of the Kenyan band Sauti Sol, is set to be a headliner at the final showdown of the African Nations Championship (CHAN) 2024. The finale is scheduled to take place at the Kasarani Stadium in Nairobi, Kenya.
He will be performing alongside Tanzanian artist Zuchu and Ugandan artist Eddy Kenzo, bringing together a mix of East African talent for the closing ceremony.
In addition to his performance, Savara also wrote and produced the official anthem for CHAN 2024, titled “PAMOJA,” which features Phina from Tanzania and Elijah Kitaka from Uganda. The song celebrates the spirit of unity and culture across the continent.
The African Nations Championship, a biennial football tournament organized by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) that features only players from their respective national leagues.
