Hotpoint awards grand winners in ‘dream big’ ceremony

RUIRU, Kenya, Feb 12 – Hotpoint hosted a prize-giving ceremony at its Ruiru headquarters to celebrate winners of its annual Dream Big, Win Bigger campaign, bringing together customers, partners and company leadership.

Five customers walked away with grand prizes following a draw held on February 4. Mary Kariuki won a home makeover package featuring Hotpoint appliances worth Sh1 million, while Tariq E. received a trip to Singapore for two. George Kanyi, Brenda Wekesa and Annie Syelava each won school fees awards worth Sh300,000.

Hotpoint Chief Executive Officer Ravi Kanani said the introduction of school fees as a grand prize was aimed at delivering lasting impact to Kenyan families.

“In Kenya, education is everything. It is hope and opportunity. This prize goes beyond money — it delivers peace of mind,” he said.

The campaign, held annually, is designed as a customer appreciation initiative focused on meaningful rewards.

Delonghi Group Africa partnered in sponsoring the school fees package, with company officials saying the initiative reflects a shared commitment to supporting education and improving lives.
