The novel Coronavirus has had the world in lockdown. With so much uncertainty and boredom, your favorite artists might just have something to cheer you up.
Top Kenyan stars Sauti Sol and Nyashinski will in the next couple of days take to social media to give you some much needed new music.

The comeback king, rapper Nyashinski recently announced that he will soon be releasing his first album titled ‘Lucky You’.
Nyash as he popularly referred to, will be doing a live stream performance on Wednesday 8th of April 2020. The performance will incorporate his hits and previews of some of the songs from his soon to be released album.
Speaking about the digital release, Nyashinski said “This album will be a dedication to my fans all over the world, so I am inviting them to tune in to the live stream on my digital pages (Facebook, Instagram and YouTube) as we also do our part to stay #TogetherApart during this time.”
Nyash who recently announced the birth of his son with his wife Zia Bett, will be performing alongside the 4 Count band. The performance will be streamed on Facebook, Instagram and YouTube.
The ‘Lucky You’ album will be available on all digital platforms on the 17th of April 2020.
Meanwhile award winning Afro-pop boy band Sauti Sol are gearing up to release their upcoming album dubbed ‘Midnight Train’.
On the 4th of April 2020, Sauti Sol fans shall be in a for treat. The ‘Sura Yako’ hit-makers will be dropping the second single to their forthcoming project.
Sauti Sol is currently riding high with the success of the first single off the album ‘Suzzanna’ which has been getting airplay across the globe.

The four member band who were among the very first artists to jump on the live stream performances wave will not be doing another live social media performance anytime soon due to the spread of Coronavirus.
Singers Akothee and Bahati recently released a collaboration ‘Nakupa Moyo’. Fast rising rapper Bey T this last weekend dropped another single called RiB (Run It Back).
Clearly there is no stopping Kenyan artists even when faced with a global pandemic.
