Calling all Harry Potter fans, the eighth installment of the Harry Potter series is only 5 months away from hitting the shelves. According to a tweet by British publisher Little Brown, the book titled Harry Potter and the Cursed Child will be published soon.
The series written by J.K. Rowlin has a large fan base with readers from all over the globe. Books that formed part of the series include Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows and more. The success of the series has created a huge following confirming its place in 21st Century pop culture. The Harry Potter movies catapulted child stars such as Daniel Radcliff who played Harry Potter, Rupert Grint who played Ron Weasley and Emma Watson who played Hermoine Granger in the films.
The announcement on twitter was met with lots of excitement. The book is planned for release on 31st July 2016 and will include a script of the play under the same name. The script was included after fans demanded its inclusion. The book’s release will coincide with Harry Potter’s 36th birthday and is set nineteen years after Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. No matter what Hogwarts house you belong to, the new Harry Potter series has all tingling with excitement.
