Gospel Singer Kierra Sheard Makes Visiting Girlfriends Sleep in Hotels So They Don’t ‘Tempt’ Her Husband

Gospel singer Kierra Sheard has sparked mixed reactions after saying that since getting married, she does not let her girlfriends sleep over at her home so they do not ‘tempther husband.

In an interview with Page Six, the best way to see to it that her husband does not have sex with them when they come over is making sure that they sleep in a hotel and not her house. “My momma has already told me don’t have too many people around your house … I don’t care how good you trust them or whatever it is, I’m very mindful and careful. I would buy a friend a hotel room before I let them stay at my house,” she quips.

“Am I supposed to let them into my home? Because we as believers, we believe that what we have we are supposed to share with others, but I’m not sharing my man. Since I’m not sharing my man, I have to be cautious with everything else that I share as far as with him being there too,” she continues.

Saying that her motive is about boundaries and not ill-intended, she adds: “I think it’s such a thing as boundaries. Some friends don’t know that balance and can’t understand the balance.”

Her sentiments have since been met with different reactions, a lot of which suggest that people do not exactly agree with her way of doing things.
