Formerly known as Taio Tripper of Kenyan group Camp Mulla, Thee MC Africa real name Mathew Wakhungu, recently dropped his latest track ‘Wakati Wako.’
Fusing East African guitar riffs, the new collaboration between Thee MC Africa and ex-bandmate Kus Ma, is a reminder of unity and new beginnings.
“There are certain things you can’t run away or hide from… As we were releasing the song we knew the impact it would have but this is a reality in modern day Kenya, particularly in Nairobi.,” Thee MC Africa shared with Capital Campus.
