A ban on ‘saggy pants’ is set to be lifted in a city in Florida.
Legislators in the city of Opa-Locka have voted to repeal the 2007 legislation that prevents people wearing trousers that will expose their underwear.
Signs are in place around the area to warn people not to get caught with their pants on show.
They read: “No ifs, ands or butts… it’s the city law!”
Vice Mayor Chris Davis admits he has never liked the law as he felt it was discriminatory.
He told the Miami Herald newspaper: “I was never in support of it, even as a resident.
“I felt it disproportionately affected a certain segment of our population, which is young, African-American men.”
