NAIROBI, Kenya, Aug 24 – Family Bank has opened its 98th branch at Beacon Mall in Upper Hill as it expands its presence in Nairobi’s key business districts.
The new branch will serve corporates, professional services firms, institutions, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and individuals in Upper Hill and surrounding areas.
The expansion is part of the bank’s five-year strategy for 2025-2029, which focuses on growth, digitisation, operational efficiency and improving customer experience.
Family Bank Chief Executive Officer Nancy Njau said the new outlet would strengthen the lender’s ability to serve businesses and individuals in one of Nairobi’s major commercial centres.
“Our 2025–2029 strategy is anchored on sustainable growth, stability and profitability, with strategic expansion playing an important role in delivering on this ambition,” Njau said.
“Our approach goes beyond growing our physical footprint; it is about strengthening our ability to serve customers through compelling propositions, digital solutions and operational excellence,” she added.
Njau said the opening of the Upper Hill branch reflected the bank’s continued investment in Nairobi’s business community and efforts to bring banking services closer to customers.
