Elani songbird Maureen Kunga gets married in a private lakeside ceremony

Singer Maureen Kunga from the popular Kenyan music trio Elani has said ‘I Do’ to the love of her life.

According to reports online, the husky-voiced band member recently got hitched at a private wedding ceremony on the shores of Lake Naivasha.

The elated Maureen shared the news online yesterday saying it was the best day of her life but gave nothing else away about who the lucky man is.

The curvy Ms Kunga allegedly exchanged nuptials with her now-husband towards the end of August in an event attended by close friends and family only.

Maureen who is a trained lawyer and a YouTube star wore a white lace gown that accentuated her waist, while her maids showed off in green dresses but each made to one’s liking.

In December 2018, she and her lover held a dowry payment ceremony at her home in Meru. Then, Ms Kunga wore a traditional Kikuyu wedding attire and the lucky man, a white shirt and khaki pants.

Speaking to The Sauce yesterday (04.09.19)  Elani’s manager Amani Maranga confirmed that the talented Maureen had indeed gotten hitched.

Music trio Elani comprised of Wambui Ngugi, Brian Chweya and Ms Kunga dropped their latest album “Colours of Love” last year.
