Done! Chebet Ronoh Apologies Days After Calling Out Fellow Content Creators

Kenyan comedian and content creator Chebet Ronoh recently found herself at the center of a social media storm after she launched a scathing attack on various public figures and influencers.

After a week of heated exchanges and backlash, Ronoh issued an apology, taking responsibility for her behavior and acknowledging that she had offended some people.

In her apology, Ronoh said “Apologies to anyone I have offended. I have received a call that has told me the truth. Let me go on a hiatus and heal again. I apologize for my behavior.” This move has led to speculation that Ronoh may have been experiencing a mental breakdown, given her reference to “healing.”

During her recent outburst, Ronoh had directed her ire towards several public figures, including Elsa Majimbo, Nikita Kering, Shorn Arwa, Kate Actress, Cartoon Comedian, and Kamene Goro. She accused Elsa Majimbo of copying her content and called Nikita Kering a mean person. Ronoh also accused Shorn Arwa and Kate Actress of copying her content and suggested that Kamene Goro was hypocritical for reaching out to her amidst the conflict.

Despite the negative attention she received, many Kenyans came out in support of Ronoh, arguing that she was right to call out copycats and that her targets deserved the criticism.

Overall, Ronoh’s recent controversies and subsequent apology have sparked a conversation around mental health and social media use. As more and more people struggle with the pressures of online fame and scrutiny, it is essential to prioritize self-care and take responsibility for one’s words and actions.
