Kanye West finally released the highly anticipated ‘Jesus Is King’ album. However, it seems that Chicago will have more to contend with than just mixed reactions as Donald Trump’s son weighs in on the album.
Kanye West’s ninth studio album ‘Jesus Is King’ has been an interesting project for the man who once released tracks like ‘No Church In The Wild’ and ‘Jesus Walks’ earlier in his career. And now the 11-track album has received high praise from Donald Trump Jr. The 41-year-old businessman went on to point out the album was the ‘epitome of fearless creativity and “dangerous, unapproved” ideas.’

But it seems that Twitter is disinterested in Trump Jr’s foray into hip hop. Many have argued that he has little to no know-how on matters hip hop and rap; neither is he informed on the subject matter discussed in the critically acclaimed gospel album.
According to Rolling Stone, “On Jesus Is King, West’s relationship to Christianity and the Church is simpler. He’s no longer poking at contradictions, but reveling in a newfound zeal. Though the album is not, strictly stylistically speaking, a gospel record, its steadfast call to worship is its defining feature. The scope here is narrow, a distillation that clearly brings West some measure of comfort, but it comes with a simplification of the music itself.”
