Diamond Platnumz’ Wasafi label unveils A New artist

WCB record label has announced a new talent under their stable.

Wasafi which is owned by award winning Tanzanian music star Diamond Platnumz, yesterday (08.04.2020) revealed their newest signee, Zuchu.

The head honcho Simba posted a teaser video on his social media platforms in anticipation for the announcement.

The talented lass becomes the second ever female star to be signed to the record label after Diamond’s sister Queen Darleen.

Singer Zuchu was clearly meant for greatness as she comes from a musical family. She is the daughter of veteran Bongo musician Khadija Kopa.

An elated Zuchu revealed through her Instagram account that she is grateful for this new opportunity, thanked Diamond and the Wasafi team as well as urged fans to be on the look out for her new music.

On Thursday (09.04.20) Zuchu released her debut single as a WCB artist titled dubbed ‘Wana’ which was produced by the hitmaking producer, Lizer.

Prior to the big reveal, Zuchu participated in Wasafi’s Women’s month campaign where she sang the chorus to the WCB produced song ‘Superwoman.’

WCB artists now include, Diamond Platnumz, Rayvanny, Lava Lava, Mbosso and Queen Darleen.
