Jamaican Dancehall sensation Vybz Kartel is celebrating his new-found freedom by dropping a new project titled “First Week Out.”
This 12-track mixtape, lasting approximately 33 minutes, includes features from Squash on four songs.
Released through 21st Hapilos Compilations, the project comprises a collection of tracks that have surfaced during Kartel’s time in prison.
As reported by The Sauce on August 1, 2024, Vybz Kartel and three co-defendants were released from Jamaican prison after serving 13 years.

The ‘Fever’ hitmaker was originally sentenced to life in 2014 for the 2011 murder of Clive “Lizard” Williams, whose body was never recovered.
