World-renowned Footballer Cristiano Ronaldo has taken his first step into the world of content creation, launching his YouTube channel, ‘UR Cristiano.’
In an unprecedented move, the Portuguese football legend amassed over a million subscribers within the first 90 minutes of going live, setting a new world record for the fastest time to hit this milestone. He has also received the Golden plaque from YouTube.
The channel’s popularity only soared from there, reaching an astonishing 10 million subscribers within 24 hours—another record-breaking achievement.
Ronaldo shared the news with his massive social media following, posting, “The wait is over. My @YouTube channel is finally here! Subscribe and join me on this new journey.”
His debut video lineup included a teaser trailer, a lighthearted quiz with his partner Georgina Rodriguez, and a memorable encounter with his wax figure at Madame Tussauds.
At 39, the five-time Ballon d’Or winner continues to break new ground, both on and off the pitch. Ronaldo, who currently plays for Saudi Arabian club Al Nassr and has represented Portugal in international competitions for more than 20 years, is now expanding his influence into digital content creation.
