On Friday June 16, Capital FM hit the road enroute Boma International Hospitality College for the premiere of campus takeover at the South C-based college.
Backed by mental health ambassadors, Games for Mental Health, the Capital FM crew interacted with the students as soon as their classes wrapped up. We started on a competitive note with fun games and tiffs on deck.
Jenga, chess and card games were the main games played and the students put their best foot forward demonstrating their chops.Then came in the music and happy hour session, preceding The Hype. It was a bona fide discotheque with DJs Andycapp and Schwaz working their magic fingers on the decks.
Whilst the fun took centrestage, the Games for Mental Health concurrently engaged students on a wide range of mental health conversations, including a question and asnwer session. “Games are my core method ensuring that my mental health is at its best. The best part about games is their ability to bring people together and exchange good energy,” Isinuated leader of the group JT Bulinda.
Boma school president caught up with The Sauce and had this to say: “Boma is the best hospitality college in East and Central Africa. Not to toot our own horn, but no school rivals us. I would recommend anyone with a hospitality dream to study here.”
Tracy Wanjiru, Wilson Muchemi and DJ Schwaz took over on The Hype, further continuing the party.
