American vocal group Boyz II Men gave their Kenyan fans the ultimate RnB experience during the Stanbic Yetu Festival.
The recently concluded festival was held at the newly renovated Uhuru Gardens on the 11th of June, 2023.
The Grammy award winning stars sang their hearts out and even showed off some dancing moves much to the delight of their fans. They pulled out all the stops for the nostalgia filled concert, performing hits like MoTown Philly, And I, Colour of Love and finished off with End of The Road. The group also went ahead and gave flowers to revellers while serenading them with their hit song ‘I’ll Make Love To You’.
Kenyan boy band Sauti Sol did not miss when they gave one of their last performances in the country before taking a break. The award winning entertainers had Nairobi at a standstill as they performed their top hits such as Midnight train, Lil Mama, Sura yako, Nishike and Extravaganza among many others.
Four Djs including Dj Dream and Cnj the deejay did a fantastic job of entertaining the concert goers.
Fans were impressed by the artists’ time management as they all performed on time and the general sense of security around the grounds. However, things were not all rosy as the organisers fumbled on the sound and visuals, leading to many complains from fans who felt like they were cheated out of the premium experience that they had been promised.
