Popular Kenyan chef Bernice Kariuki has announcement a departure from her vocation as the team chef for English Premiere League team Arsenal.
The prolific chef has been cooking for the first-team players, members of the of the club’s technical bench as well as the club’s management. Kariuki also oversaw the daily wellness and the nutrition of the team before and after matches, while curating menus for those in transit.
“A final day flourish. Finished the season with a bang! Simply the best!!! Arsenal… Arsenal… Arsenal.. 2020/2023, the best special season ever. I hang my gloves as a very proud chef, it’s been an honour working for the best club in the whole world. I was truly humbled,” Wrote the 51-year-old seasoned culinary expert, whilst expressing gratitude to the team and Kenyans for support.
Kariuki joined Arsenal in mid 2021, having previously worked in high-end hotels including Dorchester Hotel and Wardorf Hilton Hotel in the United Kingdom.
She cryptically teased her next venture saying: “More blessings in my next job. It’s been like a royal dream, truly humbled. Thank you, especially my country Kenya.”
