Keroche Breweries heiress and Nero Water Company LTD continues to get haunted by court case that dates back to 2018.
On Thursday April 19, auctioneers reportedly tried to access her home to no avail, in their quest to obtain her property valued and attach it to the debt of Sh 3, 399, 148.45. Their efforts to access the home were apparently thwarted when an unnamed politician threatened to call goons on them, which necessitated the auctioneers to seek protection from the nearby Kilimani Police Station.

The socialite and Instagram influencer has been trailed by said court case since 2018. The entrepereneur was sued by Mwananchi Credit Limited and Dennis Mombo for defaulting in paying a loan of Sh 13 million. Samuel Mutisya of Samumu Auctioneers was spearheading the court order. “Our presence here was to enforce the law. Even if it means taking her car if we find her with it, we will do that. This is to remind people that court orders are not issued in vain,” He said.
After reports surfaced Muigai had eloped to a neighbor’s house after the auctioneers showed up, she clapped back calling garbage on the gossip saying she was in Nakuru when that happened. She further added it was her househelp who informed her of people at her gate, which was substantiated when the former sent her pictures as proof of her claim.
In a series of posts on her Instagram stories, Muigai claimed the auction was but part of a larger plot to humiliate her. As per court documents, the businesswoman was sued for defaulting on a loan she took from Mwananchi Credit Limited, got into an online feud with the lender and now owes the institution Sh 3.4 million.
In a different twist, Muigai refuted chatter that she lives a ‘fake’ life after she posted a picture posing against a Bentley truck valued at over Sh 28 million saying she had alluded the German whip in her post.
