Kenyan filmmaker, Amirah Tajdin, who’s work in the ‘The Back Pack’ – CollabFeature’s first collaborative film project – which was picked-up for distribution at the 2011 Festival de Cannes, is holding an exclusive premiere Nairobi screening of her latest project – His To Keep.

His To Keep is a short film made in Kenya in conjunction with DYMK Films and 8486 Films, and was written and directed by Tajdin.

Tajdin’s 15-minute short film, His To Keep, is a poetic take on the consequences of Kenya’s fight for freedom as seen through the heart broken words of a Mau Mau veteran.

Held at Kuona Trust, the premiere will be held Sunday, May 26th from 5pm, which will be followed by a Q&A session.  Entrance is Ksh 200.  For more information, call 0788 350 306.
