Amina Abdi, SautiSol & Brian Babu nominated for Abrayanz Style and Fashion Awards

Kenyan personalities have scooped 10 nominations for the upcoming 2018 Abryanz Style and Fashion Awards (ASFAs)  in Uganda.

Media personality Amina Abdi has been nominated as one of the most stylish female celebrities in Africa alongside Namibian socialite Dilish Mathews, South African TV personality Nomzamo Mbatha, Ghanaians Nana Akua Addo and Zynnell Lydia.

Award-winning Kenyan Afro-pop group Sauti Sol bagged two nominations, as the most stylish male artists in Africa and for the Most Fashionable African Video for their song “Short and Sweet” featuring Nyashinski.

“Noma ni” crooner Octopizzo also got a nomination for the most stylish African male artist and will be going up against fellow Kenyans Sauti sol, Congolese Fally Ipupa, Nigerian Runtown, and South African Ricky Ricky.

Other Kenyans who have received nominations include; Amar Jonathan for Africa’s Male Fashionista, make up artists Steve Koby and Muthoni Njoba, Fashion photography Stevenchy Photography, hair stylist Saul Juma and renowned celebrity stylist Brian Babu got the nomination for Africa’s Fashion Stylist.

Founded in 2013 ASFAs, are continental fashion awards presented annually in Uganda by Abryanz Collection to recognize excellence and outstanding achievement in the fashion industry in Uganda and Africa. The 2018 edition will be held on 7th December 2018 at Kampala Serena Hotel under the theme “Fashion is Power”.
