It’s album season for the Queen from the East – Victoria Kimani. The hit making songstress’ new ‘Mood 4 Life’ album is making all the waves and garnering insurmountable critical acclaim merely a fortnight after its release.
Over the weekend, the ‘All The Way’ hitmaker treated friends, peers, press and industry colleagues to an intimate listening party of her new project, her fifth studio album.
Stationed at her friend’s Medigah’s new beauty studio in Kilimani, the event saw the who-is-who of Kenya’s showbiz make an appearance. From Tanasha Donna, Pierra Makena, Arrow Bwoy and Nadia Mukami, Joe Muchiri, Chipukeezy to Ronoh and Kabwe Mungai , Kenyan celebs showed up to rock and roll.
Mood 4 Life’ is a 13-track album that sees the singer delve further into her creative bag, doing so as an independent artiste while at it. ‘Safari’, ‘Afropolitan’, ‘Afreaka’ and ‘Spirit Animal’ are this project’s predecessors – all of which were subject to critical acclaim.
